Wurtland, Kentucky native Jared Wolfe spends a lot of time racing in Ohio's district eleven, yet when the circus comes to town and the opportunity to race locally appears - Wolfe makes a distinct impression. With the Ohio County Fairs Motocross Championship Series making it's most southerly and sole out-of-state showing, Wolfe decided this backyard diversion would be an appropriate venue to display his skills. And display he did, as Wolfe conquered Bellefontaine Ohio's Willy Burton in topping the 125 A class and then put on a riding display as he rode alone in 250A. While Wolfe spanked the money classes for all they were worth, a throng of fair-race regulars had great nights of racing, as many were rewarded with double class wins on the eve. In the minor leagues - Circlevilles' Blake Hoffman refused to lose - taking his Cobra CM-50 in for the 4-6 year old 50 class win and then doubling up with the 4-8 Pee-Wee class victory on his Yamaha. Levi Kilbarger sank the hopes of the 65cc and Mini-Junior divisions - taking both wins in stride, Cody Gang rode impressively for two seconds behind Kilbarger. School was in session and Derrick Arledge was handing out the lessons, thrusting his F&S Suzuki in for first place in 125 B and ringing the bell in the Schoolboy class, as well. In the vet classes, Ashland, Kentucky's Brent Blevins was the man, sailing his Honda in for the 25 and 30 plus wins. In a continual repeat performance, Columbus, Ohio's Chad Zaiser was once again the victor in destroying the novice classes, taking the 125 and 250 C classes by storm. The older 85cc classes were overhauled by Logan's Cody Proctor - he smashed his YZ-80 in for class titles in the 80 extra and 12-15 divisions.
