GRACYK, GERTH & GRABIEL GO GA-GA IN AMISH COUNTRY

Holmes County Fair
Ohio County Fair Motocross Championship Series - Round 17
MILLERSBURG, OH AUG 15

It was a coming home experience for Gavin Gracyk at the Holmes County Fair, as the extremely talented young man from nearby Blissfield stung the competitors and thrilled the crowd here in Millersburg. Gracyk, fresh off a double class winning performance at the Loretta Lynn's Amateur Nationals - went off at this North Central Ohio fair track, easily thrusting his Team Green Kawasakis in for three class wins. While Gracyk stole the show in the 125B, 250 B and 16-24 yr. old divisions, training partner Jared Grabiel and his GT Thunder KX-125 took the reins of the Schoolboy class. Grabiel had problems in 125 B - although Gracyk was, of course, dominating there, as well. Rising star and Suzuki - mounted fast guy, Brian Gerth, of Lorain, Ohio came down to see what the fuss was all about and neatly captured the purse money in the pro classes by besting Newark's Dickie Hoy. Hoy would come back to capture the 25 plus class, however.
