Living not too far way from this fairgrounds track, young Jordan Strickland came out to join this night of fair-motocross, as round eight of this Ohio County Fairs MX Championship Series, drifted into Wellston. Not racing as much as he used to as a younger child, Strickland can still wick it up - here at the Jackson County Fairgrounds he did just that - taking both the 65cc class and the Mini-Junior division. Another great night of racing was had by Dickie Hoy, of Newark - he smashed three classes wide open - taking the wins in the 25 Plus class and, both the 125 and 250 pro class races. Local Mitch Warrens had a grand eve, too. Warrens wheelied his Kawasakis home first in the 250B and 30 plus classes.
