Blauman Brilliant - Gracyk Graceful In Coshocton
By Rupert X Pellett
Ohio County Fairs Motocross Championship Series - Round 26 (Final)
Coshocton County Fairgrounds
COSHOCTON, OH
OCT 2

Many of AMA D-12's fine racers put on a show at this highly anticipated fair- Motocross - as young Michael Blauman and pro racer Gavin Gracyk each displayed very impressive performances - with the neon glow of the Tilt-A-Whirl as a backdrop, and the thick greasy air chock full of onion - ring and French fries- AMS productions manufactured one terrific moto production.

Strongsville, Ohio's Michael Blauman stepped it up here at the Coshocton County Fair - as a huge turnout of riders and spectators appeared for this final round of Ohio's County Fairs Motocross Championships Series. The crowd, reportedly estimated by local police at over three-thousand, was an enthusiastic bunch that came to see some great racing and cheer on the talented throng of riders. While local rider Gavin Gracyk, aboard his Team Green machines, ate up the pro classes and inhaled the extra five-hundred dollar purse offered up by promoter Matt Eastman - the mini-cycle classes were all about the young and fast Blauman. Powering his Kawasaki KX-85 to two class wins and the adoration of the intense crowd - Blauman was magnificent on this weekday "school"night here in rural Ohio. Charging aboard his well-prepped machines, Blauman took both the Mini Junior class (7-11) and the highly competitive Mini extra class, using smart lines and expedient riding during the one-moto format event. Logan's Tim Fink is usually pretty fast at these fair races, but tonight he was exceptional - garnering first place trophies in the 250 B and 30 plus classes, aboard his Kawasaki KX-250. Another dual class winner was London, Ohio's Andy Whitelow - he screamed his MPS backed Hondas in for two race wins - taking the lead early in the 125 B and Open divisions.
