Kuchler & Whitelow Tear It Up At McArthur

Westerville, Ohio's Scott Kuchler and London's Andy Whitelow each took a couple wins here at the fairgrounds just outside McArthur. This Vinton county landmark plays host to a few races a year - but when the fair comes to town, every racer around heads down to compete amongst the ferris wheel and the elephant - ears. Kuchler, a hardcore pro motocross racer and a regular in this fair-race series, came out swinging here at round number eleven, Kuchler thundered his massive CR- 450 F Honda in for two very convincing wins, besting 125 money class winner Dickie Hoy to take the 250 A class and handily motoring past all-comers to take the 16-24 age group, as well. Also Honda mounted was Andy Whitelow - he ran his red machine to the front real quick, styling for the large crowd over the barn-side table-top and storming off with wins in the one-moto format 125 B and Open classes. Local Ethan Scarberry was unstoppable on the 50cc machines - he took wins in the 50cc (7-8) class on his King Cobra - then took heat one of the overflow crowd of Yamaha PW-50 combatants - while J.T.Turner took heat two. In the smallest 50cc group - the 4-6 age category, it was Glenford's Evan Parkinson doing the damage - he schooled all the other pre-schoolers, charging his yellow CM-50 Cobra to the front in record time.
