Broken arm behind him, F&S Suzuki's wonder-kid, Zach "Attack" Ames, strode into the farm fields of Marysville and opened a can of speedy dominance at this rare Monday event. Hosting a Monday Memorial Day event in conjunction with rounds one of AMA District 11's Suzuki Spring Series and promoter Matt and Amy Eastman's fair - race series, this spectacular affair drew over three hundred and fifty riders to this circuit in north-central Ohio. Ames, of Prospect, Ohio, returned with a vengeance after months of time off with his injury. Stomping on three classes here, Ames ran off with the Schoolboy and the 125 and 250 B classes, whipping his Suzukis around the circuit at near pro-speed, in anticipation of competing at Loretta Lynn's this summer. Derek Sturgell was impressive all day in the pro classes, handily winning the 125 money division, while notching a respective third behind winner Andy Willard and second place Steve Richards in the 250 pro class. The old vet racers were going at it hard, with Robert "Sparky" Sparks knocking back two class wins in the 25 and 30 plus "B" wins, while Mike Blair and Mark Roop had a Suzuki battle - royale in the 25 and 30 plus money classes. Blair took 25 plus while Roop rolled through 30 plus.
