Thrashes The Fair

Ohio County Fairs Motocross Championship Series - Round 5
Marion County Fairgrounds

Former
pro-mechanic Pat Thrall, of Columbus, Ohio decided it was time for
some wins in this fair - race
series, so here, in Marion, at round five, Thrall went off on the
vet classes, scattering the old
timers as he flung his number 61 Yamaha around the jumpy circuit
in record time. A sometimes competitor in the pro classes as well,
Thrall opted to solely compete
in the vet classes here in Marion and romped to wins in the
25 plus and 30 plus classes, putting
on a mild riding clinic in the process. " I've been practicing
a lot at Brett Heskett's sand track in Newark " , explained
Thrall, " and I've picked
up the pace a bit. Still need to work on my starts though. I need
to talk to my buddy Jeromy
Buehl and see what's what." The pro classes would see a bunch
of great racing, but it was
Tony " The Tiger" Robinson winning most of the cash -
Robinson stole the show in the 125
money class and finished a strong second behind winner
Jared Grabiel in 250 Pro. Fast kid Dylan Walker was impressive
too, at this round five of the
Ohio County Fairs Motocross Championship Series - he ran away
with the 85 (7-11) class and the 85 extra race, as well.
