Dickie Hoy, a carpenter and part-time model from Newark, Ohio was unstoppable at the marvelously quaint Perry County Fair, as motocross came to this little town in South-Central Ohio and the fabulous Hoy was one of the stars. Using his trademark attack of the whoops, the CRF450 mounted and Buckeye Powersports sponsored Hoy was all business and all about winning at this round nine of your Ohio County Fairs Motocross Championship Series, as Hoy took control of both the 25 and 30 plus classes early on, pushing his mighty four-five-oh hard down through the tight course and snapped the checkered flag first, in both moto's. Hoy had nothing to say after the moto and seemingly left everything on the track. The money classes, once again, were all about Tony "The Tiger" Robinson - as the fair - race expert took on a bunch of fast local pro's and was able to go home with all the money, storming to quick starts and total dominance in the 125 and 250 pro "mains". In an unusual turn of events, former fast local mini rider - Eric "The Animal" Browning came off the farm to do some racing, as the goat farmer and part time river-guide was all about winning the pit-bike class. Browning, on a Bill-Browning tuned Honda XR-80, was too much, as he easily bested the talented field of riders.
