Fink
Gets Funky At Gallipolis
By Rupert X Pellett
Gallia County Fair
Ohio County Fairs Motocross Championship Series - Round 13
Gallipolis OH
August 4
Tim
Fink and his Suzuki couldn't have gone any faster if they'd have
been slung off the Tilt-A-Whirl
at this county fair, as the Lancaster, Ohio based racer
was on his game at this lightly attended weeknight fair-race. Fink
doesn't participate often in this Ohio
fair race series, yet when he straps on the boots and appears on
the starting line, sparks are going to fly. Fink
was just too fast for the competition at this Gallipolis event, as
he charged the whoops and
sailed over the doubles to take three class wins and
make a stand as the night's fastest vet racer. Handily charging to
three class wins in 25 plus, 30 plus
and 250 B - Fink was simply the old
man in charge here. In youth action, Dylan Walker was absolutely
the kid to beat, snapping off great
starts aboard his Suzukis, Walker walked
off with the 65cc class and two 85cc classes, as well. Putting on
great shows additionally, were Emmett Rowland and his Yamaha in
the other 85cc classes, with a
couple wins - and Colby McCutcheon and his Honda, taking the 125 B
and Schoolboy contests. As often is the case in this Ohio
fair-race series, the pro class was all about Tony " The
Tiger" Robinson
- he took all the money
class cash home.
