Evener Levels The Playing Field In Zanesville
By Rupert X Pellett

Ohio County Fairs Motocross Championship Series – Round 17
Zanesville, OH

Joe
Evener manages a large new car dealership by day, selling
vehicles to hordes of new customers, but, by night, this
trusty ex-pro dishes out the dirt, as the KTM mounted
Toyota salesman absolutely went off on thestartled pack of
fair-race regulars. Being hardcore, yet still not at his
“fighting weight”, Evener decided at over forty years old he
would take on the young bucks in the 30 plus’A’ class, as well.
Launching his mighty orange steed over hill and dale, through
whoops, turns and the misty stink of the fair-race onion-rings,
Evener sent a message to everyone that he is indeed back
in motocross, as he absolutely brutalized and annihilated the
competition in both the 30 plus and 40 plus classes at this
Muskingum County Fair.
“ I’m
back and still excited about motocross “ explained the older
motocross sensation – “and, if anybody needs a new Toyota,
tell ‘em to come see me ” Marietta, Ohio’s Mike “Bling”
Blair drove up from his Southern Ohio haunts and whisked
off with the 25 plus (A) class win, although troubles in the 30
plus class would only leave him top five, yet satisfied with his
terrific fair- ross results overall. Cameron Minton, of Mount
Vernon showed up and blew away the 50cc 4-6 class aboard his
Cobra, Minton recently returned from Loretta Lynn’s with a
top-ten finish. Young Nick Mosher was absolutely on the gas, as
he spun his Chris Mosher-tuned KTM 50 in for the 50 (7-8) class
main win, in convincing style.
