Believe In Blum ! Brilliant At Troy Fair Race

Turning it up a notch or two, Bellefontaine's Matthew Blum was all on top of things here in Troy, as this Friday night fair-race on the garden-like grounds of the Miami County Fair went down with some great racing and a fun-filled carnival atmosphere. Blum, a very fast young man on Suzukis, was absolutely the kid-to-beat here on this night, as the talented young racer stung three classes. Blum was victorious in group one of the 65cc class and was the top-dog in two 85cc classes, as well. The money classes would see a fine turnout of riders jousting for the cold cash, with Westerville's Kyle Preston besting Tony "The Tiger" Robinson in the 125 pro main, while "The Tiger" clawed his way into the top-drawer of the 250 pro purse. Preston finished second behind Robinson in the 250's - while Robinson was runner-up in the 125's. Local rider Mark Roop was the fastest vet rider of the night - taking the 25 plus 'A' and 30 plus (group one) class here, aboard his well-prepped Suzuki RM 250.
