Andrich & Browning - Howling in Hilliard

Suzuki Of Greenville backed Steve Andrich and Husky/ Moto Xtremes sponsored "Wild" Willy Browning went at it this spectacular fair-race event, as the fast duo traded wins in the pro classes, earning a good chunk of change for a night's work. Browning had major crash problems in the 125 pro moto, only mustering a fifth after driving through the pack, while Andrich cruised out front - pursued by second - place Jerid Grabiel. The 250 pro moto was all Browning however, while Andrich settled for second. The 30 plus class had some excitement, as race leader Brian Gonser lost his way and was forced to cut the track - ultimately penalized by being docked a lap - Gonser, outraged and somewhat staggered by the penalty - had this to say about that - " Get this - no one would show me where the track went - so I had to improvise, it's all quite preposterous, actually - I'm totally frazzled. Oh well, that's racing, I guess …" Gonser would finish ninth in the moto, with "King" Richard Robinson taking the win, with Edmund Moore in second. Speaking of Moore - he had a tremendous night in Hilliard - finishing the aforementioned second in 30 plus - yet winning both the 25 plus and 40 plus class races. Andrew Hyder was terrific in the Intermediate classes, taking heat one of the 125 B class and taking the victory in 250 B, as well.
