Spicing things up here alongside I-70 in Western Ohio was Lex Curry - the Kawasaki pilot was all over this Clark County Fair track, taking it to the huge group of anxious motocrossers at this county fairgrounds, just outside Springfield. Blasting his way around the tight track and hammering the whoops, Curry was superb on the night, twisting the throttle hard on his KX-125 and motoring away to two wins in the 125 B and Schoolboy divisions, here amongst the warm smells of fantastic French-fried fair food. Coming in second behind Curry in both of these one-moto format races, was Josh Toney. Toney, Suzuki mounted and an impressive rival of Curry's on this fair-race circuit, ran well all night in picking up two second -place finishes in both these Schoolboy and 125 B competitions. Once again, in a heavily talented pro class field, it was all about Chris Whitcraft - the "Milkman" delivered quickly and sobered the rest of the pack, leaving no doubt as to who was going home with the cash - Whitcraft handily smoked both 125 and 250 pro class races on his Yamahas.
