If your first name started with "J" - you had a darn good chance of winning a race at this round nine of Ohio's fair race series, there were a whole bunch of jumpin' J's taking the checkered flag at this Union County fairgrounds motocross race - as a huge crowd came out to race under warm summer skies. One of the young "J's" - Jesse Walters, took two 50cc classes, while Justin Witteman rode off with yet another pee- wee race. Local Justin Story wrote the book on the vet classes, strongly romping through for the 25 and 30 plus wins, in these one-moto format events. James Justice handed down the law, issuing hard-charging trophies to himself for dominant wins in the 65cc and 85 cc (7-11) classes, while James Kreitzer sunk two 85cc classes of his own, handily whisking his way through the 85 Extra and 85 (12-15) on his way to the podium. Josh Toney decided to claim victory in a couple races, as well - the very fast Suzuki mounted racer tore off with the Schoolboy and 125 B classes at this mighty Midwest mega-moto fest. Not to be outdone, Mount Gilead's fastest young man - Jared "Dude" Grabiel jumped his way into a third in the 125 pro class, then steamed through and won big in the 16-24 age division race, screaming his KX-125 throughout the course. In the pro classes - Chris "The Milkman " Whitcraft had no J in his name, yet took home all the cash nonetheless, with his 125 and 250 pro class victories.
