Pro racer Chris Whitcraft, of nearby Pickerington, Ohio was the man to beat here in Hilliard, as the eighteen year - old AMA Nationals regular was unbeatable on the night. Getting quick starts and tearing off from the pack was seemingly enough to distance himself from the competition, yet Whitcraft's blistering speed through the tricky whoops section after the finish line, was crucial to his big wins here. Whitcraft fought off the early charges of Californian buddy Levi Reid in the 125 class, Reid has been staying and training with Whitcraft, and was on the gas hard aboard his Suzuki RM. The 250 class was all about staying ahead of Shaun Kuchler, as he screamed around the track in pursuit of Whitcraft. Derek Sturgell was riding in brilliant fashion all night, capturing two third place finishes in the 125 and 250 pro classes, aboard his F&S Suzukis. The vet classes belonged to Mark Roop - nobody was able to match the Suzuki pilot's speed at this spectacular fair-track.
